Last night, "American Idol's" top 12 female semifinalists competed for a spot in the overall top 13, and while many of them showcased big voices that were technically superior to the top 13 boys' vocals from Tuesday night, many of them also seemed disappointingly, blondely interchangeable (Hollie, Hallie, Haley, Baylie), and there were way to many Adele references being thrown around. The girls may have had the boys beat in the singing department, but in the personality department, the more eclectic boys still seemed to have the edge.
Today, my "Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I discuss some of our favorite (and not-so-favorite) performances from last night, and try to predict which girls will make the top 13, either by public vote or a via the judges' Wild Card picks.
